I feel ripped off. £2500 later and 3 days in the garage car still not fixed and they want it in again for another investigation. Car done 100k. Either the X5 quality is poor, the garage is ripping me off or they don't know what they are doing.
Problem though cosmetic has returned although I have not reported it to Garage as yet. Will do when car is valeted later this month.
The booking of my first service was so easy. The staff are always extremely friendly and accommodating and very helpful. The gentleman who booked me in talked me through what would happen and the lady also explained this when I took it in on the day.
They went out of their way to provide a loan car so that I could continue my holiday whilst the repair was carried out

Was told on Good Friday that i couldn't use my car as the ISOFIX points could fail under load. Repair couldn't be scheduled until the following Wednesday. No offer of a courtesy car, no flexibility on the date of the repair. Not a great Easter.
All work was completed and all issues resolved in a satisfactory manner.
The work that was done required a second visit after a fault developed th next day.

The customer service element was quite good, but issues working out what was and what wasn't covered under warrenty were irritating.Added to which my rear windscreen wiper hasn't been fixed.

Good service with regular updates
My car was booked in for 8:30 their driver dropped us in town while shopping I received a video email showing my car being serviced and shortly afterwards a call to say my car was ready after being washed and hoovered. Brilliant service well done!!!

Difficult to find a suitable time to put car in for service. Minibus service did not suit. Courtesy car not available for several weeks. Only option was to come and wait for a few hours with a toddler which is not ideal. Had to wait 30mins extra too.

good job on the paint but they bodyshop put the M135i badge on in the incorrect place (correct for Pre LCi) and also not straight. Awaiting replacement and call back from the garage.

1It took slightly longer than estimated.The health check said that all aspects of the car including window glass and warning lights were fine when in fact there is a crack in the windscreen and a warning light about a parking light which comes on.

Replacement of front discs ar 29000 miles worn, thought I had bought quality. Some Comments during discussions where not what I would want to here. BMW is not the quality of car I would have expected.
I was disappointed that I had to pay a contribution for the fitting of new wheels which BMW Direct knew were faulty on my carIn no way was I disappointed with the customer care service at the branch as I found Jessica and Derek the salesman superb.

Staff were attentive to my requirements and when buying the car had a good experience. After 2 weeks however my near side front front light lense had condensation in it but was informed it didn't meet manufacturers criteria for change.

A planned "recall" modification to the child-seat anchorages was cancelled at short notice, because of a welding machine malfunction.Since I don't use child seats, this mod. can be carried out at the next service.
I was not booked in to have a curtisy car but Ryan who served me was great and found out if they had one available or if there was a driver that could take me to the meeting I had as the car was going to be more than 2 hours. Great service!

Service in BMW Edinburgh shop floor whilst I was there is as always second to none, however; service provided was wrong and new bulbs replaced when not necessary as the following day the same fault reappeared.

At time of purchase the staff were wonderful. However there was very little feedback during the waiting process, my handover was a fiasco, my private plate wasn't put on therefore I had no insurance, paperwork was wrong too.

Had issues when I went to collect the car.The Gardx paintwork seal was un polished and unbuffed in a lot of areas,a good few water marks also and paintwork shine was well below my expectations.Not gleaming like the new model I bought back in 2014
