My car was in for a oil service(it's first service) no break down of anything else checked? Contacted the same day to say it would be in over night as I had complained of squeaky breaks, no contact the day after then contacted on day 3 car ready
It can take a long time to simply drop off and pick up a car. Often going over information that has already been discussed.
All work carried out on time, and within the agreed time. The person that was put in charge of liaising with me did an excellent job, and could not have been more helpful.

On Wed 21 Nov my X5 was booked in to have the nearside front driveshaft cv boot replaced, when on route to Edin from Tullibody i was called to say a part had'nt arrived, I rebooked for Tue 15 Jan, when I arrived at the garage my X5 wasnt booked in.
As above: the paint shop manager ensured he spoke to me prior to releasing the car following completion of yhe work. I was offered refreshments throughout my visit.
Because the car is running better than it has ever before!

I would have been fully satisfied but for the following: - courtesy bus wasn't available back into Edinburgh - so had to make my own way and the garage location is quite a way out of town. Also no arrangement for transport back to the garage.
Service was completed whilst I waited
The overall service is very good. However I think more could be done to more flexibly offer what is advertised in the service package (eg performing some service work if service is due soon and car is in for MOT and under a service package).

You don't allow enough characters to tell my story. Enough to say that I experienced appalling telephone management. I called, told my story to 4 people, having been transferred 4 times, ended with reception again. No one called back as promised.
What was promised was delivered to a high standard.

The service was performed satisfactorily. The service technician was very efficient and friendly and the job was finished ,earlier than arranged, which was very acceptable. The car was washed and vacuumed well as usual
One star lost because non-service staff couldnt take a service booking. It should be possible to train other staff to understand the scheduling!
When my car was brought in for repair - a burst tyre it was not explained that the tyre could not be repaired doing it being a run flat. This was also not explained when I bought the car. I had to wait for a phonecall after I left.
Peter Vardy know how to look after customers from the moment you step into their premises and until you leave. You are kept up to date on process / progress of the service and you are ensured of a much coffee as you wish while waiting.
Dropped car off the evening before,got courtesy car no problem and my car was ready early afternoon the next day,very pleased overall.
I would have given 4 stars except experience of contacting dealer by phone has been poor. Calls transferred to the Service department are frequently not answered. I have regularly had to terminate the call and phone back.
The car was taken for servicing on the 13th of November but still was not returned until I phoned up on the 22nd of November. Unsure why the car was away for so long.
They seem to value our custom.

Everything was done as expected. Timescale was also very good which is very important to me.
I was disappointed that I had to return to have the same fault fixed. The tyre pressure warning light came back on only having driven 10 miles away from your Edinburgh garage.I was offered a tank of fuel for my inconvenience which was satisfactory.

There was a small oil stain left on one of my front carpet mats from a road test, but this was shampooed away once drawn to their attention.
Offered tea immediately on arrival then offered a lift into city centre which was ideal as I had to get a tram from their to Gogarburn for work. Service had no issues and friendly service team too.
No hassle, staff helped confirm time left on service pack and was also arranged for a suitable time.

Dropped car off before 8am to get MOT and winter wheels fitted. Text at 14:33 to say car was in workshop. In the showroom at circa 5pm was informed werent able to valet it unless I stayed for 40mins At 17:20 told had failed MOT and needed to be kept
Long wait at reception. Car went into shop at 2 PM, on arrival told car not ready until 5:30 due to software update. Not a problem but should have sent text so I could come back next day. Car not cleaned due to late finish. Service indicator not set.

BMW UK Ltd (the importer of the car I ordered) did not deliver a car with all the options that I paid for. The dealer had to do a reconfiguration of the car (the boot) to get the car into a state that was acceptable to me.
